Our Program is designed by Damon Rodd (Founder and Managing Director) who started his swimming coaching and learn to swim career in Newcastle at the age of 16.

Damon’s own swimming journey began as a 4 year old who did not like swimming lessons one bit to a competitor for Newcastle’s own Hunter Swim Club, at State and national levels in both still water and surf carnivals.

As a coach and designer of learn to swim programs, he is dedicated to seeking out the latest research and constantly improving. His unwavering goal of implementing best practice in his swim schools has involved attending many conferences all over the world and visiting countless Australian swim schools.
